Start Investing in Stock Market

Investor should begin investing irrespective of what happens in the near-term. There is huge value across the board, be it largecaps and midcaps in the market. However, investor should not take too much of leverage positions. It is a very difficult market for the traders.

When investors turn into traders, they get disappointed with the markets. The key is to buy into the right kind of stocks and just hold on. Over the next one year, the returns would be very strong.

Motivation – Self and Selftranscendence

It has been presumed for many years that satisfying lower order needs of workers ‐ adequate food,
clothing and shelter, etc. are key factors in motivation. However, it is a common experience that the
dissatisfaction of the clerk and of the Director is identical ‐ only their scales and composition vary. It
should be true that once the lower‐order needs are more than satisfied, the Director should have
little problem in optimizing his contribution to the organization and society. But more often than
not, it does not happen like that. ("The eagle soars high but keeps its eyes firmly fixed on the dead
animal below.") On the contrary, a lowly paid schoolteacher, or a self‐employed artisan, may well
demonstrate higher levels of self‐actualization despite poorer satisfaction of their lower‐order
needs.
This situation is explained by the theory of self‐transcendence propounded in the Gita. Selftranscendence
involves renouncing egoism, putting others before oneself, emphasizing team work,
dignity, co‐operation, harmony and trust – and, indeed potentially sacrificing lower needs for higher
goals, the opposite of Maslow.
"Work must be done with detachment." It is the ego that spoils work and the ego is the centerpiece
of most theories of motivation. We need not merely a theory of motivation but a theory of
inspiration.
The Great Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore (1861‐1941, known as "Gurudev") says working for love
is freedom in action. A concept which is described as "disinterested work" in the Gita where Sri
Krishna says,
"He who shares the wealth generated only after serving the people, through work done as a sacrifice
for them, is freed from all sins. On the contrary those who earn wealth only for themselves, eat sins
that lead to frustration and failure."
Disinterested work finds expression in devotion, surrender and equipoise. The former two are
psychological while the third is determination to keep the mind free of the dualistic (usually taken to
mean "materialistic") pulls of daily experiences. Detached involvement in work is the key to mental
equanimity or the state of "nirdwanda." This attitude leads to a stage where the worker begins to
feel the presence of the Supreme Intelligence guiding the embodied individual intelligence. Such depersonified
intelligence is best suited for those who sincerely believe in the supremacy of
organizational goals as compared to narrow personal success and achievement.

Gold is Golden

It's true.

The rich ARE getting richer.

Whether the economy is up or down and whether unemployment is high or low...
the billionaires of the world always seem two steps ahead of EVERYONE ELSE.

In fact, Forbes recently reported that over the past year alone, the richest people in
the world are now $1 trillion richer!

That's $1,000,000,000,000... or twelve zeros.

All the while, everyone else's retirement funds, investments, and salaries either remained
stagnant or dropped!
It doesn't just seem unfair.

It's downright infuriating!

And get this:

They're making their killing, right now, through ditching their stock portfolios!

That's right. The world's wealthiest people – guys like George Soros, Bill Gates, and
Warren Buffett – aren't using the stock market to expand their fortunes.

In fact, they're running from investments traded in ANY paper currency.

Instead, they're stocking up on as much precious metals as they can afford.

and GOLD is making HUGE money around the GLOBE

Financial Meltdown :- The Story of the Bubble that Burst

Once there was a little island country. The land of this country was the tiny island itself. The total money in circulation was 2 dollar as there were only two pieces of 1 dollar coins circulating around.

1) There were 3 citizens living on this island country. A owned the land. B and C each owned 1 dollar.

2) B decided to purchase the land from A for 1 dollar. So, A and C now each own 1 dollar while B owned a piece of land that is worth 1 dollar.

3) C thought that since there is only one piece of land in the country and land is non produceable asset, its value must definitely go up. So, he borrowed 1 dollar from A and together with his own 1 dollar, he bought the land from B for 2 dollar.

A has a loan to C of 1 dollar, so his net asset is 1 dollar.

B sold his land and got 2 dollar, so his net asset is 2 dollar.

C owned the piece of land worth 2 dollar but with his 1 dollar debt to A, his net asset is 1 dollar.

The net asset of the country = 4 dollar.

4) A saw that the land he once owned has risen in value. He regretted selling it. Luckily, he has a 1 dollar loan to C. He then borrowed 2 dollar from B and and acquired the land back from C for 3 dollar. The payment is by 2 dollar cash (which he borrowed) and cancellation of the 1 dollar loan to C.

As a result, A now owned a piece of land that is worth 3 dollar. But since he owed B 2 dollar, his net asset is 1 dollar.

B loaned 2 dollar to A. So his net asset is 2 dollar.

C now has the 2 coins. His net asset is also 2 dollar.

The net asset of the country = 5 dollar. A bubble is building up.

(5) B saw that the value of land kept rising. He also wanted to own the land. So he bought the land from A for 4 dollar. The payment is by borrowing 2 dollar from C and cancellation of his 2 dollar loan to A.

As a result, A has got his debt cleared and he got the 2 coins. His net asset is 2 dollar.

B owned a piece of land that is worth 4 dollar but since he has a debt of 2 dollar with C, his net Asset is 2 dollar.

C loaned 2 dollar to B, so his net asset is 2 dollar.

The net asset of the country = 6 dollar. Even though, the country has only one piece of land and 2 Dollar in circulation.

(6) Everybody has made money and everybody felt happy and prosperous.

(7) One day an evil wind blowed. An evil thought came to C’s mind. “Hey, what if the land price stop going up, how could B repay my loan. There is only 2 dollar in circulation, I think after all the land that B owns is worth at most 1 dollar only.” A also thought the same.

(8) Nobody wanted to buy land anymore. In the end, A owns the 2 dollar coins, his net asset is 2 dollar. B owed C 2 dollar and the land he owned which he thought worth 4 dollar is now 1 dollar. His net asset become -1 dollar.

C has a loan of 2 dollar to B. But it is a bad debt. Although his net asset is still 2 dollar, his Heart is palpitating.

The net asset of the country = 3 dollar again.

Who has stolen the 3 dollar from the country ?

Of course, before the bubble burst B thought his land worth 4 dollar. Actually, right before the collapse, the net asset of the country was 6 dollar in paper. his net asset is still 2 dollar, his heart is palpitating.
Subscribe to REACHOUT

The net asset of the country = 3 dollar again.

(9) B had no choice but to declare bankruptcy. C as to relinquish his 2 dollar bad debt to B but in return he acquired the land which is worth 1 dollar now.

A owns the 2 coins, his net asset is 2 dollar. B is bankrupt, his net asset is 0 dollar. (B lost everything) C got no choice but end up with a land worth only 1 dollar (C lost one dollar) The net asset of the country = 3 dollar.

There is however a redistribution of wealth.

A is the winner, B is the loser, C is lucky that he is spared.

A few points worth noting -

(1) When a bu bb le is building up, the debt of individual in a country to one another is also building up.

(2) This story of the island is a close system whereby there is no other country and hence no foreign debt. The worth of the asset can only be calculated using the island’s own currency. Hence, there is no net loss.

(3) An overdamped system is assumed when the bubble burst, meaning the land’s value did not go down to below 1 dollar.

(4) When the bubble burst, the fellow with cash is the winner. The fellows having the land or extending loan to others are the loser. The asset could shrink or in worst case, they go bankrupt.

(5) If there is another citizen D either holding a dollar or another piece of land but refrain to take part in the game. At the end of the day, he will neither win nor lose. But he will see the value of his money or land go up and down like a see saw..

(6) When the bubble was in the growing phase, everybody made money..

(7) If you are smart and know that you are living in a growing bubble, it is worthwhile to borrow money (like A ) and take part in the game. But you must know when you should change everything back to cash.

(8) Instead of land, the above applies to stocks as well.

(9) The actual worth of land or stocks depend largely on psychology.

Tips for Stock Brokers

It is a human nature to make blunder in stock market. Though, there always a chance to learn from your mistakes and get better yourself for the long run. Here are some ways to turn into an enhanced trader.

1. Set Stop Losses and Take Profits - “Set and forget” trading is usually profitable. When you place each trade, keep in mind to place your exit and stop loss, and then let the market be your guide. Have a preset limit of how much you are keen to win and how much you can lose. Technical analysis will tell you the best price for selling and the best place for buying. Support and resistance points are the best places to put limit orders.

2. Stick to Your Weapons - Do not try to run from the market. The only way to bigger in trading profit is to stay in the game and keep trading. Running from the trades and the action will keep you beyond the market, whether it is hot or cold. Glue to your trading plan and ratify trading discipline are the keys to producing profits.

3. Eliminate high chance for trading - You would not imagine making consistent profits at the roulette wheel, and you should not do the same with your investments. The active, professional trader only takes quality trades opposed to quantity of trades.

4. Don’t watch Minute-to-Minute - Swing traders should be keen to avoiding the minute-to-minute movements. It is easy to set an exit point that will not be hit for three weeks, but then close a potentially profitable trade due to minute-by-minute movements. There is no reason to get out of a trade for quick profits if you are in for the long haul. Small difficulties create temporary stress and can reduce swing traders to day traders. Niche trading works because you are specialized in your own area.

5. Accept That Full-Time Day trading is rough - The vicissitude of full-time day trading is very stressful. Find something you can do each day to wind down and get rid of your stressful day-to-day anxiety. Stress will make you think differently and trade another way. A professional trader will need to find ways to vent their aggravation as bad days do happen to the best of traders.

6. Pick Swing Traders or Day Traders - Know exactly what kind of trader you want to be. It is difficult to be great at swing trading while next the short term movements of day trading. Describe what kind of strategy you want to follow and stick with it.

7. Don’t be attached - You are out to make money, not be married to a stock. Even if you have the feeling that this stock is “the one,” you should be ready to put it when the price is right.

8. Talk to Additional Traders - Talk to other traders with more or different experiences. Getting a feel for the markets is supreme to producing profits. If you can get trading losing to a point where it just comes logically to you, all the better.

hAPPY nEW yEAR

New look of my blog in this new year!

Now, I m more active in this new "facebook" thing then "orkut".
Actually in this new year so many new thgs will be going to happen wid me as u all must b aware that "8" is the only number which ends up when we write.

So Headds up ! but slowly not in hurry coz so many people are in so much hurry !

I remember that guy in a silver Swift behind my cab who is honking is in a hurry to get to his office
( Yaar overtake karte hue gaali kyun deta hai ? Accha hindi ki gaali to mat de ) .

Students are in a hurry to read their chapters before they face the exams .
My boss is in a hurry to get that report .That waiter at McDonalds is in a hurry to serve table number 4.
People sitting at table number 4 are in a hurry to eat what comes to the table.
People at the boarding gate are in a hurry to get onto the plane .
When it lands , they are in a hurry to get out of it. Everybody is in a hurry to get somewhere .
Very Few people want to stay in the moment they are in.
Now I don't know . Maybe these guys know where they want to get to.
They see where they need to get to and they want to get there fast .
You see , driven , focussed people. Achievers .
Desh ko aage badane wale log. (People you see shaking hands with white people on NDTV Profit .)
Maybe I am just a slow guy who likes to listen to music and type down words which interest nobody while the world around me reaches for the stars .
You see , I don't have a problem with the 'wanting to achieve things' thing .
Even I want to achieve things , even if they are a vegetable burger with cheese , and a TV remote , and someone who shares all that with me .
But what I don't understand is that why hurry ? Jaldi kya hai . Kidhar jaana hai ?
I mean , life is not in the future . Life is now . This moment .I mean , it's like..
When I was in school , people told me happiness is after clearing board exams. We know that , kid .
When I cleared , they told me happiness was getting into a engineering college. ( Note kiya , kitni intelligent hoon main ?)
When I got that , they told me that happiness is definitely getting into MBA. Pakka . Sachi . Muchi. Confirmed. ( Note kiya , kitni intelligent hoon main ?)
When I did that , happiness was defined completing it and earning a handsome salary. Arre 100% happiness yehi hai .
USA mein researchers bhee yehi kehte hai.... lolz!
Now When I have done that , happiness is ? Hello ! What is it nowwww ? Bol do kaka . Kidhar jaana hai ab ?
So ladiesh and gentlemans ,
now that the world has been telling me what to do , this is what I have learnt - all the above stuff is important ,
but happiness is something they dont need to tell you about . It is something you feel . And only you decide what makes you happy .
When others don't know where you want to be , how can they tell you how to get there ?
Like , for me , happiness is..
On a lazy Sunday , I watch a Shahrukh flick on TV , eat a full lunch , and watch another Shahrukh movie.
When ma asks me to take a bath and I put my arm around her shoulders and say "Chill , ma.Do dinn hee to hue hai."
When I say stupid things to someone who would not think "Huh? Isko problem kya hai?."
Sitting in my balcony on a December morning and eat an orange and squeeze the orange peel in the left eye of my brother. Right eye mein bhee .
Talking to someone who understands me , and accepts me even when I am all boring .
Playing cards with Dada , and beating him at it too . ( We dont do that anymore , he is tired of
losing)
Caring for someone I want to care for.
Meeting a bunch of friends over a couple of huge pizzas and crack pathetic jokes about our college professors and why worst girls get the best guys.
Happiness is just , being me .
So you see , what makes me happy is stuff I have not achieved , but stuff , which , I already have , had all the way along .

So I know I need to achieve things , but hey , there is no hurry .Because I need to achieve things to survive , but to be happy , not much is needed .
Some music and a vegetable burger , with cheese , will do just fine for now.
