I just want

I just want a man with a real soul
Who wants equality and not control

I just want a man good and smart
A really sharp mind and a very big heart

I just want a man not scared to weep
To hold me close when we're asleep

I just want a man who loves romance
Who'll clear the floor and ask me to dance

I just want a man who gives some back
Who talks to me and not my rack

I just want man whose spirit is free
To hold my hand, walk the world with me

The wandering soul I was meant to meet
HE finally come and swept me off my feet

Resolutions

Looking back on your choices last year, you may have made some good decisions and some bad ones.
As you take on 2011, here are my favorite methods to aid in better decision making.

Make Better Decisions in 2011 : Use Both Emotion and Logic

While your instincts need to be developed and aren't terribly useful for decision-making purposes
right out of the gate, if you've made similar decisions in the past your gut probably knows what's
best. Even though emotion-based decisions can often lead to problems, they're still a necessary part
of the process. For example, fear can be used to help us understand when something might be a bad idea.
This may seem obvious, but we have a tendency to either ignore our emotions or follow them completely.
Hitting the snooze button in the morning is never really a good idea, or one logic would approve of,
but we do it anyway because we want to. Alternatively, we'll sometimes agree to do something we feel
we're going to hate but do it because we consider it an obligation or beneficial to our future.
Both of these examples are problematic because the first ignores logic and the second ignore emotion.
You need to consider both for a good decision, and then you can rely on your properly-tuned gut
instincts for similar decisions in the future.

Schedule Your Important Decisions

Most of the time you can use your instincts for the usual decisions you need to make every day,
but for the few you consider very important you need to set aside some decision-making time.
For some, the best time is the afternoon when things have died down a bit.
Others may find it best to schedule decisions in the morning because they're more awake and aware.
Think about your usual day and what factors need to be present for you to make good decisions,
then schedule the necessary time every day to think and choose. While you can't really ever know,
for certain, how a decision will pan out, you can give yourself the optimal environment and state
of mind to make the best choice you're capable of making.

When You Ask for Advice, Avoid Your Own Bias

Asking for advice on an important decision can be helpful, but it can also be dangerous.
When you ask someone for their opinion on a decision you cannot give them all the information
you're working with. You'll generally offer up what you think is important, but you could potentially
leave out something that could change their opinion entirely. This is not to say you shouldn't ask
others for advice, however. Nobody's perfect and letting others weigh in can be very helpful,
especially if you're already pretty sure of your decision and your confirmation bias may be at play.
When you ask for advice, try to avoid your own bias. For example, if you're having trouble deciding
who to hire for a particular job, be careful what you say when you ask a coworker for their opinion.
Avoid describing the person yourself because your bias may color the information you give. Instead,
give your coworker the same information you have (or as much of it as you can). If that's a little
much, you can ask simple questions instead, such as "do you think this job would be better suited
for an introverted or extroverted person?" These sorts of questions can help you confirm if what
you think is the best way to go.

Any Decision is Better Than No Decision

Ultimately, you're not living your life or moving forward when you sit and think about things
endlessly. The only thing worse than making a wrong decision is not making any decision at all.
In fact, we're much happier when we decide regardless of
the outcome. This is because our minds are capable of synthesizing happiness. If we made a bad decision,
we're capable of creating a "fake" happiness that, to us, is just as good as the real thing. If you can
decide which laptop to buy or what to wear on a date, ultimately you'll find a way to be just as happy
with whatever decision you make.

What an Awesome Reply man!

It was a hot meeting at the office conference hall.
All the people from the department had been called. The VP was looking much tensed.

The mood was so bad. My friend asked me – “Hey, what is this meeting all about?
I told – May be they will decide on when to have the next meeting.

People around smiled at each other. Then the VP started talking.
It was about the recent attrition rate that was so high. Around 10 people had put in their papers.

All experienced guys. It was quarter end and so work was huge. If we do not complete the work on time,
we need to be paying heavy penalty said the VP.

The VP turned to the manager and told “Hey – take how much ever resources you want. Recruit or
take them from other departments. But complete the work in another 25 days. Take people and complete
it man.

To this the sweet manager replied “Sir! Give me one wife and nine months and I shall show you results.
Don’t give me nine wives and one month. I cannot do anything.” Everyone looked at him blank.

The VP was not prepared for this answer. We looked at the manager and thought
“What an Awesome Reply man!”

New Business Idea

Frustrated with autorickshaw drivers who would refuse to ferry short distances,
three cycling enthusiasts came up with an innovative, yet efficient, project: Cycle Chalao.

People can hire bicycles for short distances from prime locations such as railway stations,
colleges and malls for as little as Rs 10 a day. The cycle-for-hire service is currently
available at Mulund railway station and nearby Kelkar College and is limited to students
because of identification problems. Twenty-four-year-olds Raj Janagam, Jui Gangan and
Jyotika Bhatia, the core members of the seven-member team, had launched the project on January 26.
They are all pursuing Executive MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS in Vile Parle.
After registration, one can hire a bicycle from one station and drop it at another for
Rs 175 a month or Rs 45 a week.

“Cycling in Mulund has become a trend with Cycle Chalao,” said Swejal Gangan,
who has been hiring cycles to travel short distances for the last six months.

“Cycling every morning is very refreshing and healthy.
Sometimes, we friends go for pleasure rides.”The group plans to set up four more “bicycle stations”
by January. “We also plan to issue smart cards, similar to the ones used in public transport buses,
so that everyone can use the service on showing an identification proof,” said Janagam.

“We are now facing problems in generating revenue and also getting permissions to set up more
bicycle stations because these do not come under the purview of the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
We try to recover revenue from advertising space above the wheel,” said Jui.
The Centre for Sustainable Transport, a non-profit organization, is also working towards promote
cycling to prevent pollution and tide over traffic problems. “We are in touch with the municipal
corporation to create a dedicated cell for bicycles because of the RTO norms,” said Rishi Aggarwal, director, Institutional Relations, CST

Effort is important

A giant ship engine failed. The ship’s owners tried one expert after another,
but none of them could figure out how to fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a young.
He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work.
He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the ship’s owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do.
After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer.
He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away.
The engine was fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for Rupees ten thousand .

“What?!” the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything!”

So they wrote the old man a note saying, “Please send us an itemized bill.”

The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer…… ……… ……. Rs. 2.00

Knowing where to tap………. ……… …… Rs. 9, 998.00

“Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference!”

What is more valuable – gold or silver?

There once lived a great mathematician in a village outside Ujjain.
He was often called by the local king to advice on matters related to the economy.
His reputation had spread as far as Taxila in the North and Kanchi in the South.
So it hurt him very much when the village headman told him,
“You may be a great mathematician who advises the king on economic matters but your son does not
know the value of gold or silver.”

The mathematician called his son and asked, “What is more valuable – gold or silver?”“Gold,” said the son.
“That is correct. Why is it then that the village headman makes fun of you,
claims you do not know the value of gold or silver? He teases me every day.
He mocks me before other village elders as a father who neglects his son. This hurts me.
I feel everyone in the village is laughing behind my back because you do not know what is more valuable,
gold or silver. Explain this to me, son.”

So the son of the mathematician told his father the reason why the village headman carried this impression.
“Every day on my way to school, the village headman calls me to his house.
There, in front of all village elders, he holds out a silver coin in one hand and a gold coin in other.
He asks me to pick up the more valuable coin. I pick the silver coin. He laughs, the elders jeer,
everyone makes fun of me. And then I go to school. This happens every day.
That is why they tell you I do not know the value of gold or silver.”

The father was confused. His son knew the value of gold and silver, and yet when asked to choose
between a gold coin and silver coin always picked the silver coin.
“Why don’t you pick up the gold coin?” he asked. In response, the son took the father to his room and
showed him a box. In the box were at least a hundred silver coins. Turning to his father,
the mathematician’s son said, “The day I pick up the gold coin the game will stop.
They will stop having fun and I will stop making money.”

Sometimes in life, we have to play the fool because our seniors and our peers,
and sometimes even our juniors like it. That does not mean we lose in the game of life.
It just means allowing others to win in one arena of the game, while we win in the other arena of the game.
We have to choose which arena matters to us and which arenas do not.

In the END.. it doesn`t matter!

You can love truly, act wisely, play safely and do it nicely but you can not change destiny.
If something is pre-wriiten and pre-decided then accept it as God`s blessing.
Thank you God for being with me everytime.
It`s because of you only I am existing and surviving.

In the end it doesn`t matter how much effort you have put in.
If you failed then think God wants somebody else to win.

So go with the flow, forget the fear and live life..

Feeling Love Between the Lines

There are times when we are timid and shy about expressing the love we feel. For fear of embarrassing the other person, or ourselves, we hesitate to say the actual words "I love you."

So we try to communicate the idea in other words.

We say 'take care' or 'don't drive too fast' or 'be good.' But really, these are just other ways of saying 'I love you, 'you are important to me,' 'I care what happens to you,' 'I don't want you to get hurt.' We are sometimes very strange people. The only thing we want to say,and the one thing that we should say, is the one thing we don't say.

And yet, because the feeling is so real, and the need to say it is so strong, we are driven to use other words and signs to say what we really mean. And many times the meaning never gets communicated at all and the other person is left feeling unloved and unwanted.

Therefore, we have to LISTEN FOR LOVE in the words that people are saying to us. Sometimes the explicit words are necessary, but more often, the manner of saying things is even more important.
A joyous insult carries more affection and love within the timents which are expressed insincerely. An impulsive hug says I LOVE U even though the words might be saying very different.

Any expression of a person's concern for another says I love you. Sometimes the expression is clumsy, sometimes even cruel.Sometimes we must look and listen very intently for the love that contains. But it is often there, beneath the surface.

A mother may nag her son constantly about his grades or cleaning his room. The son may hear only the nagging, but if he listens carefully,he will hear the love underneath the nagging. His mother wants him to do well, to be successful. Her concern and love for her son unfortunately emerge in her nagging. But it is love all the same.

A daughter comes home late, way past her curfew, and her father confronts her with angry words. The daughter may hear only the anger, but if she listens carefully, she will hear the love under the anger. "I was worried about you," the father is saying. 'Because I care about you and I love you.

You are important to me. We say I love you in many ways-with birthday gifts, and little notes, with smiles and sometimes with tears. Sometimes we show our love by just keeping quiet and not saying a word, at other times by speaking out, even brusquely. We show our love sometimes by impulsiveness.

Many times we have to show our love by forgiving someone who has not listened to the love we have tried to express. The problem is listening for love is that we don't always understand the language oflove which the other person is using. A girl may use tears or emotions to say what she wants to say,and her boyfriend may not understand her because he expects her to be talking his language. Thus, we have to force ourselves to really listen for love.

The problem with our world is that people rarely listen to each other. They hear the words, but they don't listen to the actions that accompany the words or the expression on the face. Or people listen only for rejection or misunderstanding. They do not see the love that is there just beneath the surface, even if the words are angry. We have to listen for love in those around us. If we listen intently we will discover that we are a lot more loved than we realize. Listen for love and we will find that the world is a very loving place after all.

LOVE is a happy thing. It makes us laugh. It makes us sing. It makes us sad. It makes us cry. It makes us seek the reason why.
It makes us take. It makes us give.
Above all else it makes us LIVE.

It is not the presence or absence of people that makes the difference because a person need not be lonely even if he is alone.Sometimes it is good to be alone. But that does not make us lonely. It is not a matter of being present WITH someone. It is a matter of being present TO someone. So remember...

If you love someone, tell them. Remember always to say what you mean.Never be afraid to express yourself. Take this opportunity to tell someone what they mean to you. Seize the day and have no regrets. Most importantly, stay close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the person that you are today and are what it's all about anyway. Pass this along to your friends. Let it make a difference in your day and theirs. The difference between expressing love and having regrets is that the regrets may stay around.

Radha Krishna

Krishna was with all the devos in sabha. He started to vibrate and from his own body his shakti came out in the form of Radha. She was so beautiful, and Krishna was so shyam. Someone made fun of their couple. Radha got angry and cursed him. That same person cursed Radha and said she will never be able to unite with Krishna (will not get married).

However, there is the story of Radha and Krishna getting married by Brahma in the forest.

Radha is Krishna's energy/shakti. He cannot live without her, and she cannot live without him. She is not a woman, nor a jiva. She is a part of Krishna. She did not take birth. She emerged from him. Literally, they are one. You cannot have an image of Krishna alone. Krishna alone is incomplete without his Radha.

In some descriptions, radha was actually a married woman. it was she who is said to indulge in an affair with krishna. even if it was not so, the relationship of radha and krishna were on a different plane, and they were actually the same being, just god in the form of man and woman. their love was pure and spiritual, and cannot be purified further by the bond of marriage.

Radha and Krishna are said to be one. Their love is eternal. What is marriage? Marriage is a sacrament (Sanskara), a rite enabling two individuals to start their journey in life together. In a Hindu wedding, the multiplicity of creation becomes possible when spirit (Purush) unites with matter (Prakritti). Krishna and Radha being one did not need the basis of marriage.

This is of course my point of view, from what i have read and gathered. I myself am totally in love with Lord Krishna.

Please......

Please avoid playing with the lives of others. Better to avoid them than hurting their feelings.

Imagine yourself in the receiver`s shoes and stop playing around. Don’t get close when you know you won`t be taking forward that relationship or be prepared to take it forward!!!

Makes a lot of sense doesn’t it?

Essence

I am still in a very contemplative mood.

I guess a personal loss makes us question a lot of things.
It makes us question what we are doing here on Earth?
What is the essence of life?
What is important to us?
What are our priorities?
And I am not sure that we ever get the answers.

But I value if you can suggest me by commenting on how should i deal with such situations and thank you for allowing me the time I needed to myself.

Live Life The Way You Want

In fact, right now as I am writing,
I just want you to feel very comfortable with yourself.
Just relax! Take a deep breathe and count one, two, three
and breathe out slowly.

How many of you are still going to work,
hoping to find better balance in life when u never seemed
to have it all all at the same time?

No one can take better control of your life other than yourself.
Reports have shown that those who have control over what they want
in life have better overall wellness, able to associate better
with others, due to the positiveness in them.

Imgaine running your work at your fingertips where everything
seemed much easier with easy ease.

But wait a second, are you afraid to try something unknown to you
due to fear.

You really have nothing to worry about.

Before anyone of us is successful in life, most of us go through
the following phrase:

Acquire of a product
--->
product doesn't seem to work that well
---->
we go under depression
--->
we work on the product again
--->
more work
--->
more results=less sweat,
more effect =

RESULTS ACHIEVED!

In all area of life, everything is a process,
we cannot cheat the learning process.
It is through the learning process that we rediscover
ourselves again and build a better and stronger inner self.

So why not allow yourself some time to relax and
take better control of your life just the way you want.

Remember, your mind is the captain of your subconscious mind
who controls the soldiers. The soldiers follow the captain's order.

So tell your mind, YOU CAN!!!

I will see you on the top:)
